» About
Phillip Sollmann and Konrad Sprenger collaborate on an extensive sound installation that oscillates between sculpture, performance, and active listening in space. Participating artists include: Arnold Dreyblatt, Ellen Arkbro, Kali Malone & Stephen O’Malley, Will Guthrie, and the newly formed microtonal brass ensemble Brass Abacus consisting of Robin Hayward, M.O. Abbott, and Henrik Nørstebø. A project by singuhr – projekte berlin in collaboration with CTM Festival.
From 28.–30.1.2022, a ticket to Modular Organ System includes access to the installation »Incantations« by Andrius Arutiunian, winner of the CTM Radio Lab call for works.
The installation takes place as part of CTM 2022 – Contact, which for this edition takes place as a two-part and hybrid edition in response to the possibilities of in-person events amongst ongoing pandemic uncertainties and the vastly different contexts and speeds of reopening in Europe and worldwide. CTM’s January/February programme will span select online offerings alongside programmes at Kunstraum Kreuzberg / Bethanien, silent green, and Radialsystem. Part two of the festival will take place late May 2022.
