- Tickets at Eventbrite The Mobility Scooter DJs are finally back with their biggest and best party yet! Featuring one of the driving forces behind Melbourne's massive electronic music scene GUMM! This will be a very intimate and limited capacity event so grab your tickets and we will meet you on the dance floor! GUMM is having a breakthrough summer in Melbourne playing to huge crowds at some of the city's biggest shows including Let Them Eat Cake NYD Festival & Smalltown Bridge Rave. Gumm has broken through the international scene with his original music released on Berlin-Based Ombra International (Curses label) and a recent mix put out via Feel My Bicep. GUMM's main focus is the dance floor and making sure it is heaving at all times! His style covers many corners of electronic music including Indie Dance, Dark Disco, House, Tech & Acid. Expect driving bass lines, massive drops, euphoric breakdowns and pounding kick drums. This show will be held in a dark intimate club environment to suit his sound so please be careful of the sweat dripping from the roof as your eyes may be closed. Joining GUMM with a "Straight Outta Retirement" set is one of Brisbane's most iconic old school DJs Kieron C. Mobility Scooter DJs will not let this man's legacy die. Kieron was raised in a small village outside of London in the 70's & 80's by early hip hop records and a desire to play them to whoever would listen. As the years went on in London and his record collection grew his life would take a dramatic turn when he attended his first acid house rave "Fairy Lane" in Totton at the age of 19 in 1989. Historians have debated for many years if KC's life was all uphill or downhill from here but lucky for us this brief moment in time over 30 years ago gives a whole new generation a reason to rave again.
