Formed in 2008 in New York, the duo make twisted Italo disco, new wave-influenced alt-pop and grubby mutant techno. Having released records with Kitsuné and Vinyl Factory, The Golden Filter are now signed to Glasgow’s legendary Optimo Music. This one-off performance will showcase the dark disco of these doyens of the dance-music scene. Support comes from Loosen Up DJs Fergus Clark (12th Isle), Charlie McCann and David Barbarossa, playing selections from the most extensive and diverse record collections in Glasgow (and beyond!) – all exclusively on vinyl.
