  • << Any profits from the event will go to the Way Home Foundation Odessa, providing critical, targeted assistance to families from vulnerable groups in Ukraine’s third most populous city, Odessa. There will also be donation collection tins at the venue so you can make cash donations which will go to the same charity. The charity is also preparing a shelter for several families in a country house away from the line of fire. Charity website: https://wayhome.org.ua In February 2019, we hit pause on our events in London with view to taking some much-needed time out following a 5-year stretch to review, reflect, and refine. Of course, the pandemic forced us to journey even deeper into reflection, the result being a very loud and very clear, heartfelt urge to reignite the events we’d invested our hearts and souls into, celebrating the deeper side of electronic music, but this time in a much more intimate fashion. We’re therefore stoked to be making our comeback in London on Saturday 5th March, taking us back to our roots – Pickle Factory. In keeping with tradition, our mission is clear - to forge a night with unforgettable flow from beginning to end, to immerse you in a journey to arouse mind, body and soul, and to keep you movin’ and groovin’ till dawn. The magic ingredients look like this: - Headlining, we welcome Valentino Mora for his On the 5th Day debut, and we couldn’t be more excited to immerse you in four-hours of the trippin’ rhythmic exploration Valentino is renowned for. Valentino has gained global acclaim through his breathtaking productions, released on labels such as Spazio Disponibile, run by Donato Dozzy and Neel, and Francois X’s Dement3d. His meditative take on electronic music incorporates influences of movement, expression and soul. In his personal work and on his own record label, IDO (Intercontinental Dance Organization), Mora draws inspiration from early ambient house scenes, melting percussion and modular synthesizers into a rhythmic migration of hypnotic soundscapes. - Opening the night will be local talent and On the 5th Day friend, Cauê. Part way through our stint of parties at Corsica Studios we were fortunate enough to cross paths with this very special soul, someone whose deeply-rooted love for deep, hypnotic techno pulled him in the direction of On the 5th Day during his first few days in London, and heck are we grateful for that! Spending the first part of his musical journey playing local clubs and afters in southern Brazil, Cauê soon formed an unshakeable bond with vinyl, falling more and more deeply into his devotion to create transformative journeys to alter states of mind. Fast-forward 10 years and he's making a solid name for himself in the local London scene, and has released his debut EP on none other than Affin Records. - On closing duties will be Abstract Man, residents and two of three On the 5th Day founders who, it goes without saying, can’t wait to be reunited with 5th Dayers at long last. ** On the 5th Day has a zero tolerance policy on any and all forms of discrimination, and on all types of harassment and abuse. If you see something that upsets, disturbs or concerns you, please inform us immediately.** Finally, please note that tickets do not guarantee entry. If your admission is refused you will be issued a full refund after the event. See you there! Much love.
