Mit Colin Benders spielt heute ein Meister der modularen Synthesizer live im Berghain, der in den vergangenen Jahren wie kaum ein anderer die Möglichkeiten des Live-Spielens expandieren konnte. Da er jede seiner Performances von Grund auf neu einspielt, bleibt jeder Klang auf dem Dancefloor so flüchtig wie einzigartig. Der Niederländer hat sich zwar weitestgehend von dem üblichen Aufnahme-Release-Live-Zyklus emanzipiert, in den vergangen zwei Jahren sind jedoch mehrere, teils streng limitierte Platten in Kooperation mit Speedy J erschienen. Zum ersten Mal in der Panorama Bar zu hören sind Jenny Cara, die viele Jahre als Bookerin und Veranstalterin im Zürcher Club Zukunft tätig war, sowie Roman FX, ein in Hongkong lebender Franzose, der in seinen Sets mit einer erfrischenden Mischung aus New Beat, Disco, House und Italo zu brillieren weiß. Bottom Heavy ist das DJ-Team bestehend aus Wes Baggaley und Dan Beaumont. Gemeinsam schmeißen sie die gleichnamige LGBTQI+-Partyreihe im Dalston Superstore und andernorts – House, Disco, Hi-NRG und mehr für alle Bottoms, Tops und Versatile.

Colin Benders, tonight's live act in Berghain, is a master of modular synthesis. In recent years he has been able to expand the possibilities of playing live like hardly anyone else. Since he approaches each of his performances from scratch, every sound on the dance floor remains as ephemeral as it is unique. The Dutchman has emancipated himself from the usual record-release-play live cycle, but in the past two years several records, some of them strictly limited, have been released in cooperation with Speedy J. For the first time in Panorama Bar we welcome Jenny Cara, who worked in booking and organisation with Zurich's Club Zukunft for many years. Also debuting is Roman FX, a Frenchman living abroad in Hong Kong, whose sets come with a refreshing mix of new beat, disco, house and italo. Bottom Heavy is the DJ team by Wes Baggaley and Dan Beaumont. Together they host the LGBTQI+ party series of the same name at Dalston Superstore and beyond – house, disco, hi-nrg and more for all bottoms, tops and versatiles.
