We’ve had a couple of 10th birthday false starts so far, and both Melbourne and Brisbane have had their hoorah. Now the time has come for the birthplace of it all to have its say… Sydney, we’re finally celebrating our 10th birthday!
What started as a small Sunday daytime party in Surry Hills has ended up being quite the rollercoaster ride. Not only have we seen this horse gallop its way through 6 venues across Sydney but it’s also trotted its way domestically to Melbourne and Brisbane.
It has made its way for a summer season to Bali and visited Europe too. From London to Ibiza, Berlin to Barcelona, Amsterdam to Switzerland, Ibiza to Vietnam and even Paris to Prague.
It’s seen the world but as Dorothy said – “there is no place like home”. And there really is no place like Sydney.
We’ve set sail and skated on ice, we’ve sat down and festival-ed, we’ve partied in warehouses and floating islands, we’ve seen sun sets and sun rises, days and nights and we’ve done this all with you.
It’s been the punters, week in and week out, who have made this all possible, who have supported us throughout the regular Sunday’s and the long weekends, the sit-down events and throughout both – lockdowns and lock outs. We thank you. We thank you for your ongoing, unrelenting and unwavering support throughout all this time.
… Nah, that’s not a tear, its sweat.
Now that the sappiness is done, we can get down to business and celebrate this stallion in style!
We’ve called upon the greats to provide the soundtrack for this momentous occasion. At the top of that list, we’ll be hosting one third of Apollonia, an artist without any need for introduction – The Don, Dyed Soundorom.
Secondly, one of our favourites both on and off the decks, Subb-an has been slinging great tunes and even better times for as long as we can remember.
Thirdly, one our most loved artists, Mike Shannon. A true “DJ’s DJ”, he has won legions of fans and the respect of his peers alike for his deep crates and lightning-fast mixing skills.
Fourth on that list is rough and tough James Dexter, no stranger to Australian shores or our stables, we welcome him back once more with open arms and the master volume cranked.
Last but not least, Australia’s best export, Katie Drover, makes a return to home soil.
For those that can remember the time before the pandemic, we used to run all the way through from 9pm until Midday on Monday on long weekends. We’re ecstatic to let you know that those times have now returned.

Excessive Fancy Dress means excessive fancy dress, an additional $10 door charge will be placed onto door tickets for those who do not dress up.
