- *airhorn* it’s DOUBLE TROUBLE this May at Club Comfort :)))) for our second party of the month we’re welcoming two of the finest DJ/producers of this generation from their home in Atlanta to our shores 💚 ~Zaida~ [MORPH ATL] ………. Anyone with ears can tell you that DJ and producer Zaida is one of ATL’s key up and coming producers. Her tracks are already shaking dance floors across oceans and we’re blessed that she’s now ready to follow them on tour. ‘Soft Touch Vol. 1’, her debut remix release from last month, is a powerful synthesis of bass weight and light textures that combines elements of pop, US Club Music and hints of South African Bacardi House and amapiano. You should buy it on bandcamp :) We could not be more excited to welcome her for her Irish Debut in Dublin, surely a first of many. #Helix# [Night Slugs] ………. Club Comfort veterans will remember our boy Helix as an old friend. His Feb’ 2019 Irish debut in our care at the Commercial Rowing Club was an unforgettable night of unfettered fun and turntablist antics. He’s back, and ready to do it all over again! Helix’s distinctive sound fuses elements from across the canons of American and UK dance music and beyond. His productions defined the cutting edge of dance music in the 2010s, alongside his lablemates, and they continue to point the way this decade. ‘Hi Dynamik Range,’ released on Night Slugs in November ‘21, combines the lushest notes of Detroit techno with South African House, RnB and Dancehall. It’s a true tour de force which skillfully encapsulates his full range of influences. Helix and Zaida are residents/regular collaborators with Club Morph, the renowned, Atlanta made, queer and “black owned creative agency crafting experience and sound since 2016”. Club Morph holds a special place in our hearts at Club Comfort as a big inspiration to us from the start- our earliest mood boards are pasted with their party pics. We’re on the pig’s back to be welcoming two GOATS to Dublin- our first International bookings since before 2020 :O Advance tix available on Resident Advisor. €12 otd. ACCESSIBILITY INFO: Unfortunately there is no wheelchair access to Wigwam’s basement, where the party will be held. There will be loud music, flashing lights, smoke machine, strobe, etc. There will be benches to facilitate sitting and resting, and you can store heavy baggage etc. in the cloak room.
