For the inaugural Brain Dance event we are bringing over one of our all-time favourite DJs from Manerbio, Italy, none other than Italian legend – Beppe Loda, and very excited to be hosting the party at one of our favourite spots – The Goods In (Heaton Park, Manchester)
For those who may not already be aware, Beppe is considered one (If not the…) founding DJs and luminary figures responsible for the now mythical Afro/Cosmic sound that was born out of late 70’s/early 80’s Italy and was the DJ at ground breaking clubs such as Typhoon, Kinky, Cosmic Club, Chicago & Futura where the music came to be defined by the name of the venue and mixtapes of that sound ended up circulating across the globe, inspiring future generations, scenes and music genres.
Since the relatively recent resurgence in the Afro/Cosmic sound, Beppe has travelled the world and played at venues and festivals entertaining thousands of people at a time with not only his unique sound but his effervescent enthusiasm behind the decks and we are extremely excited to welcome him back to Manchester where his journey outside of Italy began.
