You know how we do...
After the smashing success of round 1 in Kings Park we realised we were onto something...We figured that this is what the people of Perth WANT!!!!
So we locked ourselves in the basement at Obelix HQ and started brainstorming. For all of you who were lucky enough to get your hands on a ticket to round 1, you will agree that it would take something pretty special to top that. But ladies and gentlemen, trust me - we have done it.
Secretsundayze presents TRIBALISM feat NIMA GORJI (IBIZA)!!!!
After weeks of rumour and speculation, we can finally let the cat out of the bag and announce that on Sunday March 28th we are taking over the refurbished Rosemount Garden and transforming it into our own little slice of Ibiza. A tribal paradise...a garden of eden...a mecca...call it what you will, its meaning sacred to those who worship the 4x4 house beat and the hedonism that comes with it!
To take us on this epic pilgrimage we are extra excited to welcome none other than Ibizan resident and deep house legend NIMA GORJI (http://www.myspace.com/nimagorji). Over the past 4 years, Nima has not only held down a prized residency on the white isle, but has toured the globe, purveying his funky, tribal, jazz infused, deep house sounds in the worlds best clubs including The Room in Madrid, Fellini in Barcelona, D-Edge and Sirena in Sao Paulo, Batofar in Paris, Vega and Culture Box in Copenhagen and of course Underground, Pacha and Space in Ibiza. We can soon add Secretsundayze here in Perth to that esteemed list!

Support will come from The G & L Project which if you haven't yet heard about, you soon will. A 5 piece live act consisting of Obelix residents Gukas & Loochy spinning on the decks and FX, Jack the Sax busting out his saxaphonic genius, Josh Devlin keeping the beats on percussion and to cap it off the lovely Amrit with her sultry vocals taking you on a journey with every last word that leaves her mouth.
We welcome the boys from Illegal Cargo Records to their first Secretsundayze. Local boy Dave Miller, owner of Illegal Cargo (http://www.illegalcargorecords.com/index.html) has released remixes and original productions for his own along with other labels like Gourmand Music(FR), Lost My Dog Records(UK), Booth Trax(Turkey), Motion Music(USA). Dave is joined by Perth house music stalwart Adam Kytka, whom he recently signed to his label in a b2b set that has the makings of something epic!
Obelix residents Richard Lee and Nathan Francis will again combine their powers b2b, somehow always seeming to create a new unique style of music through flowing dubby basslines and funky, chunky beats.
We welcome newcomers Andreas Sadler and Rohan Smith by putting them head to head with our very own Chiari and T-Box respectively. These 4 Dj's right here represent the future of Perth house music so this in itself is something to get excited about!!!
