Birthed in 2010 by founders Simon Purnell and Paul ‘Mudd’ Murphy, Leng have gone from strength to strength since their inception as an effortlessly forward-thinking mid-tempo disco/nu-disco label, making their presence felt over the years with a hybrid of musical styles. Their catalogue is a fascinating insight into suave, stylish bubblers that never fail to keep you dancing from dusk til’ dawn, a quality and facet nailed down by heavily supported star appearances from 40 Thieves, Daniele Baldelli, The Emperor Machine, Payfone, Mushrooms Project, Ali Kuru, Earthboogie and Cantoma amongst many others, ensuring that the sun is always shining when it comes to Leng’s storied and dance floor roots.
Their first appearance at FIS is the beginning of what we know will be a long and beautiful relationship for this Margate/London based label. It also marks the release of Lex’s new album ‘Waving’ which you can listen and buy here — Simon & Paul from Leng will be bringing copies of the release which you can purchase directly from them on the night.
