- On this impressive debut EP, RONA. explores finding balance and connection in the chaos of life via progressive and meditative dance music. Through deeply contemplative moments, Closure reflects on the journey of walking between many worlds, centered in storylines that embody a grounding in Country. It’s a mature body of work that showcases RONA.’s ability to craft expansive sonic universes through densely textured and organic-sounding production. RONA. combines the soundscapes of Country and place with synths and melodies that pack emotional punch. Basing herself between Mparntwe in the Central Desert and the city of Naarm/Melbourne, her work explores connections between the industrial dance floors of the city to the soundscapes and rhythms of her home. Drawing from these distinct spaces, her infectious sound can stir any dance floor through thoughtful and moving electronica.
