Lurch touches down at Freedom Mills in Leeds for a night you won’t want to miss.
This time around we are welcoming the prince of broken techno, Bruce. No doubt one of the greatest DJ’s and producers in the UK scene, he is guaranteed to bring nothing but ruckus. If you haven’t caught his most recent Keep Hush or his Dekmantel BR, we suggest you do that immediately and prepare yourself for madness. His recent collaboration EP with Bambounou was a masterclass of production and we’re insanely excited to have him shell the Freedom Mills soundsystem.
Lurch founder Avernian will be playing on the night as well, having just come off the back of releasing his LP on More Time Records. His LP garnered support from the likes of Laurent Garnier, Surgeon, Batu, Zenker Brothers, Stenny and many more. You can expect trippy percussive cuts and broken wobblers that are guaranteed to shake your brain loose.
Leeds based via Jordan, Yasmeen is a DJ and radio-broadcaster with a double residency at Sable Radio & NARR. Her sets explore hard hitting variations of hard drum, percussive club, techno + many sounds inbetween. We’re very excited to have her play for us.
Rounding off the lineup is Kessie, a brilliant DJ with a keen eye for connecting dots. They recently played alongside Bruce at Wire and we cannot wait to have them back alongside him. Make sure you catch their set!
