Repeated failures as a proof of success, with the intention of forcing them that is. This success is then dubbed as the new convention, with even more stringent norms and order. A forced compliance on larger scales. In the backstory, a turning point where the victors have imposed their views on new mechanisms of economy and narrative, and where the vanquished are forever subdued. As if lives are just dispensable, and just another point to prove.
Control systems have been re-establishing themselves in novel ways, and created a one-sided dependency on real-time global access. The transfer of wealth and resources is done the other way around, displacement is seen as a moving of pawns, and crises are seen as opportunities.
In turn, the highly controlled dissemination of information is birthing even further polarized opinions, and hijacking the ability to genuine rapport to important matters. Masses are amassed, bundled and thrown into the fold of scheming and plotting. And the attention turns onto an imbued sense of saturation.

In context, it’s absurd how hard it usually is to get ourselves to come together and collaborate even though we share the same imposed borders from each side. We have longed for a meet-up while constantly faced with restriction after the other.
We were habitually confronted by this, only being able to see our friends and families in territories outside, if that even works out while not mentioning the blockades put up against us to travel there. Yet, it is somehow even harder to travel in-between our neighbouring areas, near impossible to meet each other right here. And in a scheme of restless eviction, it is easier to be displaced to nations and states that are themselves colonising, than to see each other.
By putting forward a gateway of expression and not just rejecting that status quo, be it through our modes of work and shared values, our dear friends from Palestine, represented by Odai, Muqata’a and Kujo, will be making their way here for a very special afternoon and night, akin to a micro-festival, alongside a host of familiar faces in our midsts.
This collaboration is also a statement that regardless of these and other imposed barriers, we will be able to gather and assemble and work ahead.
