Black Dahlia is an experimental musician and artist
based in Sydney, Australia who creates sinister
dance floor dimensions and gothic live shows filled
with distorted vocals.
Her music combines elements of industrial, EBM,
metal and New Beat, and deals heavily with themes of
vintage sexploitation, sexuality, trauma, and
empowerment.
Along with live and DJ performances in Sydney and
Melbourne, she has also released on labels such as
Up North Records (Au), Deep Scan (Au), Insane
Industry (Italy), Idlestates (Scotland), X-IMG
(Berlin), Body Musick (Colombia), and The Brvtalist
(Berlin).
Black Dahlia has supported: Boston 168, Adriana
Lopez, SNTS, SPFDJ, Paula Temple, Kobosil, Rebel
Yell, Buzz Kull, Chiara Kickdrum, and Ptwiggs. She
has also played Electronic Music Conference.
✞ Elisabeth DIXON
ELISABETH DIXON is a music producer and live performer based in Melbourne, Australia creating darkly atmospheric techno. Dixon's formidable sonic landscapes are informed by an interest in binaural beats, altered states of consciousness and ritual trance. Suffusing hypnotic drones and driving techno beats with powerful binaural frequencies, she incarnates otherworldly atmospheres that are both meditative and eminently danceable.
Since releasing her critically praised debut LP ‘LP1’in 2016 via Instruments of Discipline (DE) and TRAIT Records (AU), Dixon has performed live techno sets at clubs, festivals and warehouses around Australia; recently supporting The Black Queen (US) and DRAB MAJESTY (US) for their incredible sold-out Australian tour, Dixon has performed alongside international artists such as Derrick May (US) for Piknic Elektronik, OAKE (GE), Delta Funktionen (GE), Puce Mary (Denmark) and local staples such as Kangaroo Skull, Chiara Kickdrum, Kiti and Sleep D.
Winner of Triple J's Mix Up BEST OF 2017, Dixon has created mixes for BUNKER, I-D, Thump, THE BRUTALIST and an exclusive track for the Thump/VICE Australia wide party series. Following the release of her single ASHERAH in 2018, Dixon has stepped back from performing however is pleased to to be announcing the release of a new collaboration with Alex Akers of FORCES for Melbourne Music Week's Bells Project, out via Heavy Machinery Records.
✞ Estée Louder
Estée Louder is a Sydney-based artist, event producer and dance-floor enthusiast. Revered for her ability to seamlessly blend between the darker realms of house and techno, her DJ sets are designed to leave you feeling exorcised and energised.
Estée Louder founded regular club night and podcast series CONTROL. Control exists to create space for women and queer people operating and existing in the electronic music realm. Control seeks to bridge the tyranny of distance between Australia and the rest of the world, bringing together international guests and their local counterparts in dance floor unification. Recent guests include Miss Kittin, K-Hand, Borusiade and Nastia Reigel. Control yearns for Lesbian Underground Techno Utopia.

RMR has been a regular DJ on Melbourne’s techno scene since 2013, including a residency at Trough X & Fantastic the party. Rachael is involved in the Control (Sydney) & Doom Gen (Melbourne) parties. Her sets explore hypnotic techno a fusion of a macabre variety.
She has played at events including at the iconic Melbourne Federation bells for MMW 2019, Trough X parties, Fantastic Party, Fantastic: The Abyss & Fantastic Party Shibari Garden, Melbourne Techno Collective, Acid Slice, Plexus, Dimensions at Revolver, Strawberry fields festival, Death Disco, Mythology, Hell Rave & The cave, Dance Technique & Control parties in Sydney. They have shared the lineup with their personal influences - including international techno artists Paula Temple, Silent Servant, Blush_Response, Borusaide, Nastia Reigel, Zoe Zanias, Halv Drom, Boris & Psyk.
