We have a real treat in store for this months External Sounds. Following on from Freeman Bear last month we are keeping it live with a performance from the brilliant 'Scribble Soundsystem'.
The Scribble Soundsystem is made up of two Djs, two MC's and a live Drummer for a full on musical assault.
Formed in February 2009, when Scribble DJ's Tom Beary and G. Frequency joined forces with MC Little Tree and session musician Chucky to create one of Dublin's freshest live outfits. In the short time in existence they have played some impressive gigs with performances at Bodytonic's New Years Eve party @ The Twisted Pepper, as well rocking out the main stage of the Castle Palooza Festival last summer. Their energetic stage show mixes music styles like Dancehall, Reggae, Dubstep, Soulful beats with G. Frequency's original hip-hop productions used as a solid foundation, and then mixed with live scratching, effects, and percussion. Add in two of Dublin's best hip-hop MC's like Harry Moschops & Ophelia and you got the recipe for some serious dance floor mayhem! You really dont want to miss this performance.
