To celebrate, we’re excited to announce the launch of our partnership with the Kremwerk complex to bring you the Restless Planet Records Summer Series, running Saturdays from July 16 - September 3 at the Kremwerk Patio.
In true Restless Planet Records fashion, we’re going to be re-interpreting the summer dance space to bring you a residency that puts local collaborations with artists, performers, apparel vendors, and food specialists front and center, to fuel your summer soul.
On July 16, Seattle’s “all things dance” label is teaming up with local friends to bring you a Patio / Timbre Room takeover, celebrating the label’s forthcoming release, Isotonic Projection, from local hero - Summit Dub. The night will feature headline performances from Summit Dub and support from Roams and Isotonic Projection remixer, Lorin Gabriel.
Get ready for the magic to unleash at the Patio from 6PM where we’ll have residents and special guests warming us up, before opening the Timbre Room at 10PM to take us through an all-around adventurous and charged night across the Kremwerk complex.
Come join us for an evening to remember as we continue our voyage into new territories of Seattle’s underground scene. Warm grooves and restless moods will send us on a starboard trajectory into the thick of Summer.

ABOUT THE MUSIC
Our new release from Summit Dub is a spacy, adventurous, and thrilling track spanning the dubbier and deeper side of house music. It’s exactly the kind of vibe we want to encourage, support, and grow through our label. Music that makes you think, move, and feel like you are somewhere else. We’re excited to share the original and remixes from Lorin Gabriel at our event for you.
Michito Iwata (Summit Dub) first emerged onto Seattle’s then-up-and-coming electronic music scene in the early 2000s. Playing underground loft parties and quintessential club nights quickly became his niche.
Growing up in Japan during the 80s led Iwata to his earliest musical influences. The most notable being folk music from the deep stretches of Japanese highlands, retro Japanese pop, and new age artists such as Tatsuro Yamashita and Kitaro.
As a long-time fixture of the Seattle underground, DJing and event production continues to be his forte. But being a student of genre spans decades and requires dedication. He’s carefully curated a highly selective record collection with sounds ranging from quality house to techno to being strung together in a high-art fashion.
Justin Byrnes’s long history in the Seattle music scene dates back to the early 00’s, he has performed alongside notable acts such as Mark E Quark, Catz'n Dogz, Freaky Chakra, and Brian Zentz to name a few. Byrnes' latest project, Lorin Gabriel, is a departure from his previous project, Cyanwave.
Sully AKA “Roams” is an up-and-comer in the scene, having played at some of Seattle’s most forward-thinking, explorative, and curiosity-inducing events including Lost, Spacy, Habitat, Tiki Tiki, and more. We’re excited to have his charged yet emotively deep and expressive house grooves aboard for our launch and further on in the summer.

ABOUT RESTLESS PLANET RECORDS:
Restless Planet Records (RPR) is the passion project of Mason Harris, Michael Polyakov, and Bernard Ross. Our label is based in Seattle and intends to release music that spans “All things dance” from our local community within the Pacific Northwest.
We are a local label with scalability at our core. We intend to support our local producer and artist community through collaborations, high-quality releases, and creative events.
