Back on the Merge decks with one of her iconic live sets is our absolute favorite sonic empress, Rrose. The Eaux label-head and Sandwell District affiliate absolutely tore her set with us back in February, and we’ve been itching for more ever since! If you haven’t seen her play live, then here’s your chance - expect a concoction of her recognizable productions layered with unreleased gems!
Sigha’s hypnotic, haunting, and heavy-hitting sound is profoundly theatrical, encompassing the totality of his musical influences that range from IDM and drone through to industrial and noise. With releases on James Ruskin’s Blueprint label, Shifted’s Avian imprint and his own Our Circular Sound label, Sigha has established himself as an unmissable artist. The last time he played in NY was 2014, so we couldn’t be more excited to have him back after 8 years and behind the MERGE decks!
We're obsessed with the ultra dynamic and playfully fierce duo of Nick Bazzano and Kiddo Sincere, aka Pure Immanence! They seamlessly blend a multitude of genres into a cohesive array of psychedelic moods. Their ambient programming at Unter’s formative Greenpoint days will live on in our memories forever! They’re regulars at Sustain Release, held a weeknight residency at Bossa, and have had a significant contribution to the BK underground as we know it.
Furtive is a Philly-based DJ/Producer, who cut their teeth in DC’s underground. Through regular appearances at Sequence and their own party - Astrobounce, they quickly established themselves as a seminal part of the district’s techno community. Their recent EP Tephra on Mild Fantasy is an absolute delight, seamlessly weaving the hypnotic and esoteric with pummeling propulsive techno - the “Iris Blur” track is without question our fave!

MERGE is a Brooklyn-based, queer platform that aims to cultivate sonic liminoid experiences through techno music. We will work together to incubate the collective queer body, and experience its transformation under the influence of techno. We seek release, mutual understanding, deeper access to the personal, interconnected, and ethereal. We honor the sound through dance, self expression, and hyper-immersion.
