- Microtones presents wave~seed: a fundraiser for The Ruth Ellis Center. The Ruth Ellis Center has established a national reputation for quality and innovation in providing trauma-informed services for lesbian, gay, bi-attractional, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ+) youth, and young adults, with an emphasis on young people of color, experiencing homelessness, involved in the child welfare system, and/or experiencing barriers to health and wellbeing. It is their mission to create opportunities with LGBTQ+ young people to build their vision for a positive future. wave~seed is a fundraising series with the intention to turn sound into support. We have released three fundraising records raising over $2500 across a variety of causes (microtones.bandcamp.com). 50% of proceeds will go to The Ruth Ellis Center and the rest will be split amongst the artists. ___ Update 0730222 We will partner with Blueprint and still start the night off at 8 but go until 5. It's free entry until 10 pm and will cost $10-15 afterwards.
