- Pumping Velvet is teaming up with longtime friends BRUK for a scorching outdoor Sunday day party at community radio station Aaja Music’s wonderful new Deptford home. We’re super excited to present a line up that spans absolutely every kind of music we want to hear on a sunny day, from Disco and House to Dancehall and UK Garage. Entry is free but if you want to guarantee getting in please reserve your spot by booking a Dice.FM ticket. Special guest DJ Mário Valente will be joining us to celebrate his birthday! Mário is a bona fide Lisbon legend having been resident DJ and booker at everyone’s favourite Lisbon bar Lounge for many years. Having torn the roof off at previous PV parties we can't wait to see what parts of his enviable record collection he brings to London. Sofie K is an NTS host that consistently highlights just the kind of music Pumping Velvet holds most dear. Her blend of sleezy italo and leftfield disco will be the perfect soundtrack for some outdoor summer dancing. Returning from something of a dancefloor hiatus will be Elgato. Known for his classic records on Hessle Audio, Elgato is also a killer DJ. Completing the line up will be BRUK residents Dr Maz, DJ Set, Raynulds and Pumping Velvet DJs. BRUK are an ever evolving group of music lovers who keep good company within a range of scenes. They started out putting on nights in Bristol in 2010 without denoting the genre or the booking and have hosted a weekly Sub.FM radio show since 2010. Pumping Velvet is a queer-focused party that aim to create inclusive spaced for dancing your worries away. Everyone is welcome but remember to treat your fellow party goers with respect. Come pump some velvet!
