- We are celebrating 6 years of survival with the return to our chosen home hub: E1 / Studio Spaces. It will be a long awaited relief to all those creative ideas we bunkered for this day. Make sure to get tickets early. /// ABOUT Klub Verboten launched in 2016 and is a provider of contemporary Sex-positive spaces. Our roots lie in the spatial, sonic and visual exploration of BDSM & fetish practises. We felt modern kink should not materialise like the package description of a ‘flesh-coloured’ dildo from an online retail monster. We are about the complexities of modern physical Interactions; a crowd filling the whole spectrum of human experience. Verboten explores how we engage with each other driven by our sexualities at a range of timbres, fluidities and endurances, with ethoses and processes that amplify the tangible & intangible qualities of united ejaculations. Stagnant prescribed erotic orthodoxies are no longer as our parties celebrate experimentation & expression, in the believes that new forms of connection & resistance will emerge. /// KLUB RULES Entering our spaces can feel complex at first. But embedding these few very essential human attributes within ourselves before attending, is an absolute must. /// TICKETS Same ticket type for everyone. Verboten members can unhide % early bird tickets using their Membership Number (CODE) whilst allocations last. Once they are gone, they are gone and the CODE will expire for this event. /// VETTING / MEMBERSHIP Klub Verboten operates on a membership basis for safeguarding purposes and to comply with licensing conditions. Before attending our event, everyone needs to be subject to a vetting process. YOU CAN BECOME A MEMBER BY: Sending an online application via klubverboten.com Getting vetted in person at our social event, Tears For Beers. (We still need your online application) If you are not a member yet, you can still purchase a ticket and come to our doors to get vetted on the spot to receive a temporary/prospective membership. However, a prospective membership is only temporary and does not guarantee any entry until you apply through our website. Ultimately, everyone is subject to vetting, but not everyone can become a member. /// DRESS CODE Klub Verboten is a fetish club with a strict dress code policy. If you are inexperienced, stick to these: Latex, Rubber, PVC, Leather, Metal, Lace Your outfit does not need to be expensive; creativity & authentic expression are key. We put tremendous efforts into our events and expect an equal effort in the thought process of you. If your outfit is not Verboten enough, we cannot let you enter. If one could wear it in a cocktail bar, you can't wear it at a fet1sh club. Safeguarding our cumunity is paramount; therefore, we may refuse entry to anyone who’s outfit communicates a lack of understanding required to navigate these spaces. Too many laser beams. /// SAFEGUARDING TEAM Safeguarding is paramount and at the core of everything we do. Klub Verboten is the only entity of its kind that has achieved accreditation with the Good Night Out Campaign for more than three years in a row. Further to that, our team gets regularly trained by Safer Sounds Partnerships, WAVE and Verboten. The Verboten Safeguarding Team is there to protect you all from unwanted tentacles, consent dickheads, and enforce all our Klub Rules. You can spot them by their BLUE BERET HATS and VERBOTEN LOGO HARNESSES. Our rules are displayed throughout the venue. Please approach us immediately if you feel anyone attempts to breach these or if anything feels not 100% right. We will always have your back. /// ACCESSIBILITY / WELLBEING Ground floor venue. One single step to enter. Queue times can vary, best to arrive within the first hour of opening Toilets: Step free access as well as one set of 2 steps. Some seating. Outdoor area. Some strobing & moving moving lights A little smoke & loud music Well vented / heating & air condition If you require welfare or medical assistance while at the event, please flag a member of our Safeguarding Team or event staff. /// TICKET RETURNS / WAITLIST Once an event sells out, the ticket return option becomes available & tickets will be offered to people on the waitlist. Verboten does not offer refunds. /// T&C’s You agree to our Klub Rules by submitting the application form and/or ticket purchase. Failure to comply leads to ejection from the event and a potential lifetime ban and termination of membership. Members are responsible for their friends and partners and to the entire cummunity Klub Membership or holding a ticket does not guarantee that you will be permitted entry to the event on the night. Our door staff reserve the right to refuse any ticket holders admission in their absolute discretion. Reasons for non-admission may include (but are not limited to) our door staff having a genuinely held belief that a ticket holder has: not complied with the dress code, been denied or had their suspended membership suspended, not yet been granted membership but cannot demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the Klub Rules when asked, been ejected from one of our events, been the subject of a behavioural complaint at a previous or similar event, been disrespectful to our staff or other guests, is overly intoxicated, otherwise demonstrated that they present a risk to our community or licencing conditions. In such cases we will endeavour to provide a refund of the ticket price within 30 days of the event except in cases where there has been a clear failure to adhere to the dress code or where a person has previously had their membership rejected or suspended.
