Always pushing new boundaries, always traveling through time and space, Soul Clap continues their mission to change the world one dance floor at a time at Good Room on September 17. They'll be joined by special guest Greg Paulus live plus Chomp! Chomp! Records takes over the Bad Room with sets from Timo Lee, Yurk, Chris Muñoz and Quinn Lamont Luke.
Charles Levine aka Lonely C and Eli Goldstein aka Bamboozle have been putting their soulful spin on underground house, blending in elements of RnB, garage, hip-hop, funk, and downtempo electronica as Soul Clap for almost two decades. They're regulars here at Good Room and they always know how to get the dancefloor going wild. They've invited Greg Paulus out to the party who will putting jazzy house spin on the night with his live, improvised trumpet.
Brooklyn label Chomp! Chomp! is taking over the Bad Room with their extended family behind the decks. The label created by DJ/producer Timo Lee focuses on original, eclectic dance music created by underground artists. Timo is a long-standing member of dance music community here in Brooklyn as part of Good Room and in Hawaii at DJ Harvey's Thirtynine Hotel. She will be DJing with Yurk at the party. The label's latest artist Chris Muñoz (whose new EP comes out in November) will also be playing plus Quinn Lamont Luke is on warm up.
