° Konnekt (De:tuned)
Konnekt has been DJ-ing for over 20 years. Besides being a great DJ, he is also part label-boss of the renowned De:tuned recordlabel.
Based in the city of Herentals in Belgium, Konnekt is an avid record collector. He always manages to amaze the crowd and his fellow DJ’s with his vast knowledge of electronic music and his record-digging skills.
At Vext Konnekt will warm up the crowd and sound-system with a techno set. Oh yeah, he plays vinyl-only.
° Ritzi Lee (MORD, Symbolism)
VEXT is proud to introduce our headliner Ritzi Lee. Ritzi has been at the forefront of underground techno for a very long time, both as DJ and producer. He has released tracks on labels such as MORD, Symbolism and Theory (just to name a few).
A flawless technique and recognizable sound made him play at the largest festivals, performing at Awakenings, doing club gigs supporting DJs like Jeff Mills, Ben Sims, Dave Clarke,...
He has always stayed true to the unpolished techno, getting inspiration from Detroit to Tresor, while always renewing and finetuning his music. VEXT will give you the opportunity to witness Ritzi showcasing his skills for 3 hours straight so you can experience his way of building a set.
°Fik (VEXT)
Fik is a well-known figure in the local technoscene and has been spinning records for the best part of two decades.
He is known for his groovy approach, technical skills and wide musical knowledge, which makes him the perfect resident dj for VEXT. He can usually be found behind the decks of any party in and around Westerlo.
He will have the honour to take over from Ritzi and will close the party. Get ready to dislocate your hips while he will feed you durable techno from past to present (or anything else he damn well pleases)
