- Thursday August 25 at @keeponboston we welcome Chicago house torch bearer Garrett David! Garrett has been putting out a ton of great records for years on labels like Lobster Theramin, Distant Hawaii and most recently his newly launched label Global Swing He’s a longtime resident DJ at Smartbar and throws a weekly party there called Queen! with Gramaphone Records boss Michael Serafini and Derrick Carter. The photo on the flyer is one I took of him recently at his label launch party at Smartbar which was also with House legends Mood II Swing. The photo perfectly captures the vibe of Garrett and the scene in Chicago. Garrett is without a doubt making some of the best house music in America (and the world tbh). It will be his second time at Keep On. Come out for a taste of Chicago.
