[not just] is a monthly curated musical experiment that took birth in the minds of Ashmita Shetty, Jayesh Veralkar and Faizan Shaikh, with a humble effort to expand and dive deep into the universe of sub-genres of various sounds, taking the audience on a audio-visual journey into the vast realm of the music universe.

Madam X - DJ, label head and club impresario Madam X has proved she has many strings to her bow. Equally adept at playing to huge crowds as she is 100-cap basements, as well as hosting her own shows on BBC Radio 1, Rinse FM and NTS hosting guests like Mall Grab, Lauren Flax, Darwin & more, her multi-faceted approach to music feels unique and ultimately, special. The proud head of her own label, Kaizen, too - an imprint she launched with extensive, free compilation ‘Kaizen Movements Vol.1’ in the summer of 2014 - Madam X is already overseeing the label’s debut release proper, as well as hosting Kaizen label parties across the UK. With support from DJ Seinfeld, Loefah, Four Tet, Bambounou & more
Anushka - Her career as a DJ began with the inception of the duo, Anushka + Agent, along with Smita Singh. Her sets go beyond Breaks and Drum and Bass and seep into genres like Electro, Leftfield House and Techno. Anushka’s DJ sets layer bass-heavy and edgy breaks ultimately ensconced in a darker, moody veneer. She embraces a variety of styles in her sets and has become an icon of edginess - creating music interwoven with keen fashion sense, that is fresh, authentic, and driven by dance.
Nagada - Her style is unique and what sets her apart is the inimitable energy that she brings to the decks. If DJ NAGADA touches the decks, its guaranteed you'll find most of the guests on the dancefloor vibing to her beats.
Melina - Melina Blanco is a producer and DJ from San José, Costa Rica. In her productions and performances, she explores electronic music that goes from ambient, downtempo, techno and more.
As her tastes change and she experiments with new sounds and techniques, her intention is to produce music that doesn't focus on a specific genre or style, but on emotion and experimentation.
Ukiyo 浮世 - This audio and visual phantasmagoric alter ego of Ashmita, guides the audience through the mysteries of sound by evoking and feeding the visual sensations.
