A party dedicated to all things 303, I Love Acid returns to Good Room on October 20 as part of our 8th Anniversary celebrations. The UK-based label and club night will be celebrating the sounds of acid house, Detroit techno, and Chicago jack with Luke Vibert, Posthuman, Lauren Flax, WTCHCRFT and DJ Warp.
Luke Vibert is one of the true pioneers of acid from the UK, one of very few artists that can be held in the same esteem as the originators from Chicago, Detroit & NY in the late 80s. With over 3 decades history since he burst onto the scene in the early 90s alongside his friend & fellow Rephlex artist Aphex Twin. I Love Acid is named after his iconic track, released on Warp Records over 20 years ago.
Posthuman are spearheads of the modern day UK acid house scene. Since 2007 they have been hosting the I Love Acid parties, which have grown from nights in London to raves all over Europe with guests like DJ Pierre, Paranoid London, Hardfloor, Josh Caffe and hundreds more. After an epic night on the dancefloor going b2b with Lauren Flax back in April, we can't wait to hear what they've got in their record bags for round two at the club.
