FTMA, nouveau festival dédié à l’art sonore et aux musiques électro-acoustiques, prend ses quartiers à l'automne prochain au 3537.
Omniprésent dans l’art, le son est néanmoins souvent relégué au second plan. FTMA place l’expérience sonore, comme médium ou objet de réflexion, au cœur du processus de création de chaque œuvre exposée durant cette semaine célébrant musique et art contemporain.
Pour cette première édition co-organisée par fluxus temporis et 3537, le travail de plus de 25 artistes français et internationaux sera mis à l’honneur durant une semaine où vont cohabiter dans un même lieu installations sonores immersives, performances, œuvres multimédia, ateliers et concerts. Une expérience vouée à re-définir la musique, le bruit, le son... ou peut-être une manière de matérialiser ce qui n’a pas d’enveloppe physique.
- Une exposition gratuite et ouverte à tous en plein coeur du Marais -
Tous les jours de 11h à 19h, l’accès à l’exposition est ouvert et gratuit pour tous. Répartis sur les 3000m2 de l’Hôtel de Coulanges, une dizaine d’installations sonores et audiovisuelles seront présentées au public.
- 5 soirées de concerts avec des performances en son spatialisé -
Du 11 au 15 octobre, 5 soirées de concerts mettront à l’honneur musiques électroniques, acousmatiques et expérimentales, avec en exclusivité des performances créées pour le festival et diffusées en son spatialisé sur le système 4DSOUND de Monom Studios.
Le collectif français Alcôme viendra également installer un acousmonium pour présenter des pièces de musiques électro-acoustiques classiques et contemporaines
- Des ateliers organisés par l’INA grm -
Le célèbre Groupe de Recherches Musicales créé par Pierre Schaeffer en 1958 et rattaché à l’INA depuis 1975, viendra animer 2 ateliers autour de ses logiciels de production musicale, animés par Diego Losa (compositeur du GRM) et Adrien Lefèvre (développeur).

FTMA, a new festival dedicated to sound art and electro-acoustic music, will take place at 3537 this fall.
Omnipresent in art, sound is nevertheless often relegated to the background. FTMA places the sound experience, as a medium or object of reflection, at the heart of the creative process of each work exhibited during this week-long celebration of music and contemporary art.
For this first edition co-organized by fluxus temporis and 3537, the work of more than 25 French and international artists will be honored during a week where immersive sound installations, performances, multimedia works, workshops and concerts will cohabit in the same place. An experience dedicated to redefine music, noise, sound... or perhaps a way to materialize what has no physical envelope.
- A free exhibition open to all in the heart of the Marais -
Every day from 11am to 7pm, access to the exhibition is open and free for all. Spread over the 3000m2 of the Hôtel de Coulanges, a dozen sound and audiovisual installations will be presented to the public.
- 5 evenings of concerts with spatialized sound performances -
From October 11 to 15, 5 evenings of concerts will feature electronic, acousmatic and experimental music, with exclusive performances created for the festival and broadcast in spatialized sound on the 4DSOUND system of Monom Studios. French collective Alcôme will also install an acousmonium to present classical and contemporary electro-acoustic music.
- Workshops organized by the INA grm -
The famous Groupe de Recherches Musicales created by Pierre Schaeffer in 1958 and attached to the INA since 1975, will come to animate 2 workshops around its music production softwares, animated by Diego Losa (GRM composer) and Adrien Lefèvre (developer).
