"The Script” is a Brooklyn house party started by the BK-based Pintauro Brothers and their friends with the message to come as you are to dance, create connections, break the barriers between us, and move beyond your comfort zone to celebrate life in the most intimate club environment. Music is only one part of “The Script”. Carefully selected local artists will bring an amalgam of beats, breaks, samples and messages to the dancefloor.
Saturday, October 15th we welcome DJs Chris Annibell and OP!, members of NY-based collective, Afrokinetic, featuring to rock Brooklyn’s Jupiter Disco.
Afrokinetic is a celebration focused on playing Black diasporic dance music across multiple genres. With a focus on Deep and Afro House, Afro Beat(s), Afro-Latin, Soulful and Gospel House, other genres like Disco, Funk, Soul, Dancehall/Reggae, and Hip Hop are dynamically interwoven through the historical travel and evolution of the drum and rhythmic movements. Orchestrated by DJ's OP!, Lea and Chris Annibell – they mix music that spans the world wide range of Black diasporic and influenced music while supporting a strong community of music enthusiasts who believe in love, justice, equality, and the undeniable right of Black Lives.
