French musician and producer Roméo Poirier plays live with support from Dialect (RVNG Intl.) Beau Beaumont (Meine Nach) & Lupini (NTS)
Romeo Poirier makes sleek, subaqueous electro-acoustic music, with songs that glide in and out of earshot, busting like miniature engines, clicking, whirring, finely tuned and rhythmically confounding. His third album, Living Room follows 2020's much praised Hotel Nota. Poirier explores the mysteries of music as a time-based art - not simply in the sense of duration, but the way time refracts throughout autobiographical experience, historical dimensions and stages of evolution.
Support comes from Dialect, the long standing project of British composer, multi instrumentalist and field recordist, Andrew PM Hunt. Beau Beaumont, upcoming Liverpool sound artist and composer who explores deep listening and our relationship with music. And Lupini (DJ) of NTS Radio, heavytexture and athe.
