Creeping out of DJ retirement, our host AKUMU brings you a brand new club night. The Red Museum; a quest through a hazy landscape of dark techno terrain, mellifluous melodic meadows, and hard drum dungeons.
Kicking things off is MAG, local legend and resident on Clyde Built Radio. She creates finely woven mixes where rich textures and quietly transcendent melodies give way to flashes of industrial electronix and weird, dubby techno.
AKUMU will be turning up the tempo, bringing a surreal mix of unpredictable dance music, ranging anywhere from video game OSTs, to emotional heartfelt melodies and hard club trax.
MM sets are restless and hyperactive, burning thru all genres and tempos – but he is best known for drummy techno-esque club hits like 9th Ritual and Terrible Muscle.
Bristol-based NKC pushes the term Drum Track to its logical extreme - while always prioritizing dance-ability. He runs the Even The Strong label and co-hosts the clubnight Steam Rooms in Bristol. Expect UK Funky edits, Amapiano & Gqom alongside Mad Drumz of all varieties.
