- Is it a club night? Is it a gig? Is it a festival? No it's CaRnEy-ViLle! For one night only CaRnEy-ViLle rolls into town and pitches its big-top on Saturday 29th May. With 1000 CaRnEy-ViLle revellers in attendance over 3 themed stages at Manchester's inspired new venue Sound Control, this 1 night riot will feature live street performers, VJ's, carnival stalls and even a brass band. But fear not if you don’t have small hands and live in a caravan with a bearded lady, as there’s a festival strong line-up for normal folk with Ed Banger's DJ Feadz, Acid House hero Jon Carter and Berlin super-star Daniel Steinberg heading up the pack. As if that wasn’t enough to spank you silly, NME’s Firas joins local legends Heavyfeet in dropping the sonic treats while Chibuku’s No Fakin DJs cut it up samba hip hop style on 6 decks and 3 mixers. Circus Folk residents Frogs in Socks, Danimal & Si Smith will be your ring-leaders for the night.
