It's hard to believe we are actually saying these words, but we are proud and very grateful to be able to say, WE ARE 10!
The last decade has seen so many moments of joy and connection at Hope Works. This is a time we are allowing ourselves a moment to reflect upon the impact and achievements Hope Works has had on music culture and community in Sheffield. We feel so humbled and grateful to still be here doing it. The landscape was very different in 2012 when we started this, but we end 2022 on a massive high with a stacked season of events we love and are proud to present.
The lives we have touched, the friends we have made and the hundreds of events we have delivered for Sheffield and the UK electronic music scene has seen us with multiple nominations as best small club and winning DJ Mag’s Best Boutique Festival in the UK for No Bounds 2019!
What has driven us forward has always been a deeply rooted passion for the music we love, but also a belief in the community and culture here in Sheffield. Hope Works reflects the people of this city who have shown us and the artists who have performed over the years so much love and support. You say it in words sometimes but mainly by turning up and giving your all on the dance floor. This has driven us forward over the last 10 years.
We love you all, never take you for granted, and still to this day believe to our souls that HOPE WORKS!
To mark this huge milestone in our history we have invited Detroit legend DJ Bone, Neighbourhood's Tasha, Freerotation's Steevio & Suzybee and Portuguese groove dealer, VIL to create a soundtrack to the night like no other.
We haven't stopped there though, we also invite a slew of our amazing residents and friends to the party as we cover multiple rooms with music topped off by a celebration of fellow Sheffield label and electro authority, CPU Records who also celebrate 10 years this year....as we continue to celebrate Ten Years Of Tonkin It!
This is a once-in-a-lifetime moment. We really hope to see as many of you as possible to celebrate a decade in the dance with us.
