Love Glove returns to repeat welcoming the wonderful Mother Of Mankind as special guest on the 1s and 2s.
Mother of Mankind, the UK based monthly radio show, focussing on the sounds of Africa, one country at a time.
Hosted by Dj Trickey, a record collector, presenter and the original founder of Mother of Mankind. Trickey aka Tom is now well known UK wide and beyond as a respected African music specialist.... his love for African records sparked by his Dad who would play him records from Fela, King Sunny Ade, The Bhundu Boys and Lijadu Sisters as a child. Much of his father's African record collection now resides with Tom in his own collection at home in Frome, Somerset. The show's journey around Africa has now covered more than 20 countries, and has featured interviews with artists, including Chief Boima of the Kondi Band, Kora player Seckou Keita, Cuban Pianist Omar Sosa, Simo Lagnawi of Gnawa London and Electric Jalaba, Sudanese producer SUFYVN and author of A Quick Ting on Afrobeats, Christian Adofo.
Trickey will be using this opportunity to bring some of his finest dance floor orientated inspiration to the party!
