MEGALOPOLIS (NYE 2022)
It's here, the portal to MEGALOPOLIS has opened and it's housed itself in the heart of Liverpool, inhabited by some of the best musicians, selectors, performers, wordsmiths, culture nurturers and movement makers.
And of course, those pesky Scousers and adopted Scousers have infiltrated the diverse landscape of Megalopolis to leave their mark.
They do this in collaboration with the musical curators Aletha and Ellie Stokes, renowned for making noise on dance floors on all sorts of terrains, Cosmic Disco trio Galaxians, the electrifying force to be reckoned with DogShow, followed by the chaos of live jazz-electro groove outfit, known only as MadMadMad.
With @eatmeclub, @social.hours, @sisucrew , @keep_it_cryptic residents and a whole host of other tastemakers in support, expect New Years shenanigans by the river Mersey like never before.
Inspired by the idea of large and exciting, densely populated cities and urban regions, Megalopolis is an expansive place of music and culture, sprawling across rooms and stages and taking the audience on a journey of both familiarity and new discovery.
With bands, DJs, games, secret worlds (what?!) and even the option to arrive early (limited availability) for some food and an intimate gig before it all ramps up, Megalopolis is where it's at this new year!
