Out with the old, in with the new - For the first time proper, two pillars of Naarm’s dance community turn over a new leaf, joining forces for one day/night only to send off ’22 and say hello to ’23 in fine style.
From 3PM - 3AM this New Year’s Eve, Animals Dancing & Butter Sessions sync up to bring together the best of both their respective worlds, with local and international friends flexing across the Thorn’s XXL warehouse, ballroom & outdoors in Thornbury’s East.
Animals Dancing & Butter Sessions acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which this event takes place, the Boon Wurrung and Woiwurrung (Wurundjeri) peoples of the Kulin Nation. We pay respect to their Elders, past, present & emerging. We extend this respect to the Aboriginal Elders of other communities and all First Nations peoples. Always was, always will be Aboriginal Land.
