SPSound is very proud to present the absolute Dutch premiere of ODDSAC by Animal Collective and Danny Perez at SMART Project Space.
ODDSAC is the new collaborative project by experimental pop group Animal Collective and video artist Danny Perez. It is not a movie for which Animal Collective made a soundtrack, nor is it an extended music video. The visual album ODDSAC is the product of four years of close collaboration between Perez and the band. The music and the moving image are a whole and intended not to be consumed apart from each other. Therefore, ODDSAC will only available as a DVD from the beginning of the summer. The project made its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival where it was very well received. It presents a new synthesis of music and film and creates an immersive experience that goes way beyond a conventional narrative.
Director Danny Perez & members of the Animal Collective will be present to introduce the film. Tickets are limited, so please make reservations. An after party with special guest DJ’s will follow the premiere!
