The production duo,Confucius and The Monk, went on to create some of the most emotional electronic music, creating a sound all their own. They are resposible for original tracks such as “Out of body Experience” and “Deeper” as well as remixes for an array of artists, including Garbage, Orbital, Planet Soul, and probably most recognised for their remixes of Sarah McLachlan (“Fear & Possession”) and Goldie (“Inner City Life”). To date, they continue to provide the scene with quality electronic sounds and with their performance artist Bunny, a truly unforgettable live show. Rabbit In The Moons’ home base is Hallucination Studios in Tampa Florida, U.S.A. //////////////////////////////////// //Coffintexts// Omnidisc Best known for her unpredictability, intuitive crowd control and exploratory production, Coffintexts has been steadily growing her catalogue since her initial recording debut in 2017. Challenging expectations since adolescence, the Miami-based producer’s divergent influences are evident in her versatility both in the booth and in the studio. Although Alex’s productions are largely centered around club music, much of their technicalities remain unpredictable. A deep dive in her release archive reveals a multitude of hidden gems; remixes and guest productions for indie singers, hidden amongst bass heavy techno. The Miami based producer has also DJ’ed an impressive array of venues and shows, curating a variety of sounds. Coffintexts started the post-lockdown year performing at Secret Project’s collaboration with III Points alongside veterans like Black Coffee and Luciano. This quickly led to an eclectic Boiler Room set that opened up slow with Burna Boy’s afrobeat banger Killin Dem before diving into a series of originals, once again pleasantly surprising audiences. Coffintexts closed out 2021 with a string of shows across the US, leading into her III Points set, and a project on Berlin’s Club QU featuring an omniscient remix by fellow vanguard Danny Daze. //////////////////////////////////// //Sister System// Omnidisc Sister System is a Miami based DJ, Omnidisc affiliate and founder of Objects Don't Dance party series. Sister System has forged a musical galaxy around her in a short span of time. Since entering the scene in 2018, the Miami-based DJ and event producer has helped reshape the city’s underground electronic landscape with her keen ear for selections and eye for curation. Sister System’s sound defies easy categorization. Like the best selectors, she juxtaposes deep cuts and familiar tracks in such a way that the cumulative effect becomes entirely her own. It’s dark, tough music for well-tuned ears: Long, hypnotic stretches of downtempo numbers might suddenly be punctured by a burst of breakbeats or funky 303s; techno hi-hats will find negative space to occupy among aquatic synth lines, dislocated drums, whispered vocal samples, and even the occasional electro. Her ability to navigate both nostalgic sounds and the outer limits of experimentation is what commands listeners’ attention. In addition to carving out her own name as a DJ, she’s spent the last few years organizing off-the-grid raves that have united Miami’s disparate electronic factions and embolden the city’s underground scene. She’s now playing alongside respected artists like Danny Daze, John Talabot, Avalon Emerson, and Aurora Halal at Club Space as well as assisting with talent bookings for the legendary club. Having launched Objects Don’t Dance, with Jonny From Space and True Vine, is just one of many evolving projects she maintains, to extend Miami’s exposure to a diversity of dance music, while illuminating the vibrant array of talent the city has to offer. /////////////////////////////////// //Djoyvan// Cuba Joyvan, currently based in Tampa, comes to us from Cuba, where he has been DJing for nearly 25 years and is considered as the pioneer and father of the Cuban electronic scene!
