- Hot on the heels of their European tour, German-Aussie trio Concentration return to Northcote Social Club for their first Australian show in four years joined by foremost experimental polymaths R. Ribeiro and Mararara. A free form thought spiral to the tune of queasy electro smut, guttery dub and buckets of noise, Concentration’s “staggeringly unpredictable live performances'' have been described as “beautiful, hilarious and terrifying all at once” [Ransom Note]. Their new double LP, Aren’t You Gonna Introduce Me To Your Friend, recently dubbed ‘Portishead on cough syrup’ [The Wire], was released to wide acclaim including a nod in the Quietus’ Best Albums for September.
