From the birth of Ground Floor, to the exodus
of Backyard. A romantic dance in the saloon of Mezanine followed by the morning ritual of lesnoy prichal. The sounds of LOW have been carrying dancers, ravers and pilgrims of electronic music in Kyiv for 14 monumental years.
Since the war started in February last year, Ukraine‘s communities of electronic music have suffered a severe rupture in their beautiful story line of the years before. Nevertheless, the people of Ukraine, including its artists, dancers and ravers have united more than ever. They have adjusted, they‘re fighting back against the machine, they are raving against the cruelty of our sad reality.
We have decided to gather in Berlin, to celebrate the birth of a movement, that has been projecting warmth into people‘s hearts for more than a decade.
On Friday, February 10th, shortly before Valentine’s day, we will celebrate love, life and hope, in a symbolic 14 hours ceremony.
3 dancefloors, grooving between House, Disco and Techno, all connected through the frequency of LOVE.

LOW Party is what you would call the longest winning streak of Ukrainian
night scene recorded.The party series took off 2009 at the Xlib Club,the
vanguard underground venue hidden in a defunct bomb shelter.Witnessing
the heydays of a modern disco sound revival coming out from the Northern
hemisphere the LOW crew imported some of the genre defining names for
the first time to Kyiv.
At that moment LOW Party was a game changer shifting the public interest away from then booming grim electronic sounds of techno and dubstep towards a witful mixture of house, disco,acid and new wave sonic waves.The LOW crew is living by that golden rule ever since: anything goes as long as it's not dull, monotonous and yawn provoking.
As the new emerging disco sound moved along so did the LOW musical
offsprings.They resettled to Closer Club which is widely considered the focal
point of modern days Ukrainian underground scene.
The LOW Party residents Themselves — Pavel, Serge, Philipp, Eugene and
Olegue — have been regular vivid additions to the festival line-ups created
b y t h e Closer team. Strichka, Brave Factory, Black Factory, you name it.
They have also imported their signature all-nighters abroad having done
s e v e r a l L O W guest appearances in Berlin, Oslo, Cologne and Düsseldorf.
PRU Y RVU (be fruitful and multiply) stands for diversity and freedom. Inclusive instead of exclusive. This is reflected in our musical program and embodied by our community.
We present artists and performers from different spheres of electronic music-, queer-, kinky- and club scenes. A significant part of them from Ukraine. After years of working with artists and performers in Kyiv, we have realized the impact of creating safe spaces on mass consciousness and open-mindedness. PRU Y RVU is constantly pro-active for the recognition of safe spaces as a cultural asset, whether in a form of fundraiser raves and art exhibitions.
