- Just at the end of an unexampled winter, with freezing temperatures and many problems, we are ready to welcome the warm season. As usual we will have an international artist's sign for the Citytech event: its time for Cisco Ferreira, known to the world as THE ADVENT. A name that sound quite appropriate for a man that has been one of the main actors in the creation and the development of Techno music from the beginning of its time. Certainly his Techno CV is the one of a legend. Cisco produced Techno and played in live performances years before the rest of the world had heard this musical genre. His first track was released in 1988. While he has experienced tons of successes during his career he continues to write Techno's history. He is busy performing in DJ sets and live performances, producing for numerous labels and managing his own label Kombination Research. Some of the labels where THE ADVENT appears are: Kombination Research, Codeworks, Alpha Recordings, Tresor, International Deejay Gigolo, Synewave, Electric, Internal, Metalbox and many others. So, this time its another living legend that lands in Trieste. Supporting the master Cisco TOTOPROTO, owner of Sebian Recordings, emerging label that is gaining popularity in the digital market, where another sacred monster Joey Beltram has shown his artistic capacities. The warm up is done as usual by one of our residents, A-LEX young techno soldier from the Different Grooves Crew. During the occasion we will celebrate the 24th birthday of one of Different Grooves' godfathers, Gill! Citytech Series, episode 008 - ONLY REAL TECHNO!
