Now we can let the celebrations begin!! Oh yes, it's been four years since we started tWaDdLe in the tiny basement of Dare cafe in Headingley so we're lining up a massive celebration to sign off another year in style
This season's been our best yet, with us showcasing some of the most exciting up and coming talent in Europe as well as throwing the party of all parties with the legendary house gangster DJ Sneak.
To celebrate we're having a one off marathon bash, kicking off at 7pm in the back garden of Stinky's and going through until the early hours, with a packed line up of old and new tWaDdLe performers:
Topping the bill is the one and only Audio Werner who's performing his extremely rare live set, followed up by the boss of one of the most celebrated house labels in recent years - CIrcus Company's Sety.
Audio Werner has been a tWaDdLe favourite for several years now and we are very privileged that he will be performing an extremely rare live show for us. These sets are as renound as they are rare. Get ready for some deep and shuffling, funk laden beats which have allowed Audio Werner to shake dance floors worldwide. Do not miss this chance to see a very special show.
Supporting Mr Werner is the boss of Circus Company, Sety.
Since the late '90s, Sety (Mathias Duchemin) has been a fierce and tireless activist within Paris' electronic underground scene, determined to carve out a space for unconventional, experimental dance music. In 1999 he co-founded the Circus Company label, along with fellow artists Kean and Freak, of Nôze; in 10 years, it has grown from a local outpost into an international hub. With a roster including Nôze, Ark, Dave Aju, dOP, Mossa, Guillaume & the Coutu Dumonts and DJ Koze, among many others, Circus Company has become one of Europe's most respected modern house labels.
Sety's years behind the curtain didn't curtail his activity behind the decks, however. His vision and his versatility have confirmed Sety as one of the most promising artists in a new generation of house musicians. He holds a residency at Paris' Rex Club, where the Circus Company family comes together, and also plays at some of the world's most celebrated clubs—Berlin's Panorama Bar, Zurich's Dachkantine, London's Fabric, São Paulo's D-Edge… If you've ever caught him at any of those places, or perhaps at a party with no name in a building with no address, on a night where you lost your phone and have nothing to prove that it even ever happened, you'll know the feeling that Sety brings. As with Circus Company's records, it's a vision of house music that folds its history into something familiar and strange all at once: Pulsing, unpredictable, sensual, and unforgettable.
Before the usual indoor shenanigans start at 11 we're kicking things off in Stinky's garden area with Ben Parkinson from the superb Boe Recordings on the decks as well as an extra special appearance from twaddle's first ever guest!
If that wasn't enough we'll even been giving out loads of FREE BOOZE from 7pm - we're off our nuts!
Get down early and celebrate with us all night - it'll be a wicked vibe with evening sunshine and superb music guaranteed with free drinks until our shed-load of booze runs out!
