John Talabot and Ninos du Brasil for the first ROBOT Night of 2023: Saturday 11th February @ DumBO Bologna
It will be unrestrained and liberating dances that the Ninos du Brasil will drag us into at DumBo: a mix of sounds, costumes and colours create a concentration of madness, from which to expect a live show capable of combining carnival atmospheres and hardcore performances.
A project created by Nicolò Fortuni and Nico Vascellari, musicians and performers who, like few others, know how to drag the audience into a colourful, rowdy, irresistible collective ritual, return to ROBOT to present their new album Antro Pop, produced by Rocco Rampino - aka Congorock - with guest Iggor Cavalera on drums.
The most brutal electro punk band you've ever heard is back with their fourth album, dangerously festive with ragged percussion, crushed bass and whispers of voices that will have you all singing along to something you've never heard before. Ninos du Brasil's live show is something not to be missed and at the same time unpredictable.
After the stage change, it will be time for a set by John Talabot, another tireless experimenter, producer and DJ capable of always constructing the perfect set, depending on whether he is in front of a large festival audience or in the small club of expert connoisseurs of every branch of electronic music.
The author of unforgettable all-night sets for festivals such as Sónar, Pickle Factory, Moog or at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum in Glasgow, Talabot has also curated stage programming at events such as Primavera Sound and Nuits Sonores, when he wasn't busy organising Hivern Discs label nights in clubs across Europe.
