- The Pre Sonar Lost My Dog party will take place on the 11TH June 2010 @ Anam bar - an intimate cocktail & DJ Bar in the heart of Angle, Islington. The lineup: Rhythm Plate (Ant Plate aka Yse + Matt Rhythm aka. 1/2 Bleep District), The awesome 3 turntable-ist from Barcelona - Tres Manos (Your Only Friend, Om) - Ryan Bliss (Lost My Dog) & The Deep House Experiment. We are excited to announce the very first of many London Lost My Dog Records parties for 2010. We are kicking off just in time for the summer with a superb line up of fantastically talented artists that are bound to keep you on your feet all night long. We on a mission, not only to provide you with the finest underground house music, access to the most talented artists that are making waves all over the world - but… we really need to find that dog! So get involved. Join our mailing list & keep up-to-date with the latest releases, international parties, artist news & all that jazz. We will be recording all the live sets & taking video footage so email us & we will send you all the evidence after the event/s. Sonar: we will be hosting our annual bash at Sonar in Barcelona on the 18 June with Tres Manos, Joshua IZ (Vizual) & Luke Mckeehan (Nordic Trax) & the full Lost My Dog crew! Now a bit about our artists... --------------------------- Who is Rhythm Plate anyways? Rhythm Plate consists of Ant Plate (aka YSE) and Matt Rhythm (aka 1 half of Bleep District), two friends who met at school through a mutual love of shoplifting and warm real ale. Plate constantly varies in age and Rhythm gets younger by the day. The guys have been recording and releasing for over 10 years as Rhythm Plate, for labels inc DiY, Mantis, Flat & Round, and Lost My Dog. They've been licensed to compilations on Renaissance, Slip'n'slide. Laurent Garnier, Ashley Beedle (X-Press2), Fred Everything, Shur-i-kan, Atjazz, Lawnchair Generals, Norman Jay are all fans. Yse Ant also records as Yse. Some quotes on his recent LMD releases... Peter Christianson (Lawnchair Generals): Fucking brilliant, got this from Ant and have been so happy ever since. It’s truly changed my life. Atjazz: “You’ve blown my socks off mate…I’m all the f*ck over this record, the whole thing is a classic in the making” His record "Bounce Back" was played by Norman Jay on Radio 1 at the Notting Hill carnival a couple years back Bleep District Matt is half of Bleep District, who've recorded for Winding Road, Ornate, and Lost My Dog. Tres Manos has been diggin' deep in the crates for over 15 years. With various residencies and a fan base that doesn't stop growing; he is a favorite in every city he plays. Originally from Washington D.C. Tres Manos began his musical career in Denver. In 1998 he moved to Barcelona, Spain and has been playing a leading role in city's underground house scene ever since. When he's not traveling around the world to perform or throwing slammin' events back home, he is hard at work co-running the record label Justified Cause and producing music for esteemed labels such as Detour and Om records (some under the name "2Cheap Tricks" with label Partner GarcyNoise). He has just launched his Deep House / Beatdown label, Your Only Friend, and with his musical productions and various vocal projects. Ryan Bliss hails from the Deepest, most Southern part of Africa, where the passion for deep house originated. You can best describe Ryan Bliss's style as deep, driving & quirky house music that’s devoted to the underground. He was a deep house resident for the Next Movement Crew in Jozi ,South Africa from 2003- 2005. Ryan Bliss has played at some of the most infamous events at Carfax JHB & some of the top deep house music venues across South Africa. Ryan has also shared the decks with the following international Djs: Raoul Belmans (Aroma Rec), Giom (Amenti, Aroma, Fazed Music), Jay West (Drop, So Sound / Flavor Recordings), Pete Dafeet (Lost My Dog), Najan Ward (Lost My Dog), Pete Gooding (Space) ,AlexKid (PIAS), Trouble men (France), & Digs (DiY). Ryan Bliss & Katia Pereira started Deep Rooted Productions, in an aim to bring Quality Underground house beats to London Town! It all kicked off in 2008 alongside JamJar when the crew brought out Raoul Belmans from Aroma records/Swirl People. Most recently, Giom, Jay West & Pete Dafeet joined the Deep Rooted crew for some immensely successful parties at their residency at Anam bar in Angel. Further highlights this year were playing at the exclusive Tabula Rasa parties alongside,Pete Gooding (Mambo, We Love Space), Matt Tolfrey, Monophunk, Najan Ward (Lost My Dog), Jimi Mist & Tony S . The Deep House Experiment consist of two lads (John & Jay) originally from sunny South Africa. They bought their first decks in 2005 & 3 months later got asked to play in Ibiza at Bar Kanya. That’s where it all kicked off have been playing their deep, eclectic house beats all the way from super clubs, bars & boats in London to Germany, Spain, Poland & Thailand. John & Jay have played at Pacha, Ministry Of Sound, The End, AKA Bar, Inigo, Anam Bar. Over the last 5 years they have shared the DJ booth with the following international artists/producers: The Inland Knights, Kinky Movement, Ryan Bliss, Peter (LCG), Giom, Sonny Fodera, Fish Go Deep, Jay West, Troydon & Raoul Belmans. What distinguish The DHE from the rest of the masses is their down to earth & easy going attitudes, no pretenses. It really is all about the highest quality in the deeper sounds of house music. Having never succumbed to music hypes, they continue to keep it deeper, more underground but enough to keep people grooving.
