Playing stalwart Sydney techno party Strange Signals' 10th birthday, Donato Dozzy, half of Voices from the Lake, Labyrinth festival resident and Berghain regular has been at the very top of the techno pile for well over ten years now. For good reason.
With his experience from legendary appearances at Japan's fabled Labyrinth festival, dancefloor devastation at ground- zero Berlin clubs Berghain and Tresor, Italy's Terraforma, Spain's Parallel, and regular appearances at clubs throughout Europe, Dozzy wields an irresistible and ecstatic power over your bodies that starts in the chest, oozes down to the feet, and up to the mind.
Pure, unhurried explorations of thumpingly tribal sounds, with an ear for both the known and unknown in equal measure, Dozzy has the ability to work his way into your head and lock onto the dancefloor, a rare talent that sets him apart from as a techno DJ world wide.
