On this night we’ll be raising funds for 2 global organizations —-Statelessness Legal Defense Fund (@inculturedco), IRCA CASABIERTA (@ircacasabierta)& our friend Dallas( @flyzaminnelli) who recently was involved in a motorcycle accident last week.
Statelessness Legal Defense Fund (Dominican Republic), a group of lawyers that are in the Dominican Republic fighting for Dominicans of Haitian descent who have become stateless by their own government.
IRCA CASABIERTA (Costa Rica) - works closely to help provide legal services, and meet needs of LGBTIQ asylum seekers awaiting asylum in Costa Rica.
Dallas was recently involved in a motorcycle accident with their partner and they both sustained serious injuries - Dallas fractured their femur, was rushed to intensive surgery, and spent several nights in the hospital. In addition, Dallas was laid off two weeks before the accident without warning. To support them and help them pay off medical bills, come join us Sunday night!
