  • “I make noise and organize it in semi recognizable patterns.” That’s how Drumcell tersely describes his music. Not bad for a signee to Chris Liebing’s renowned CLR with a touring schedule that lands him at some of the best festivals and clubs on the globe. However you describe it though, Drumcell’s music is not for the faint of heart. His recent “Severance Check” EP is filled with full-throttle techno that hits just right: earth shaking low end, unstoppable momentum and a snarling bite befitting of its title. Tin Man balances out the attack with deep, evocative neo acid immersions. A modern master of the TB 303, his productions have homed in on that iconic instrument’s limitations to create a vast world of sumptuous acid techno. Few artists in the genre have squeezed as many expressive melodies from a few monophonic wiggles. Mild Fantasy founder Elle Dee is a mainstay in NY. For over a decade, she’s been a steady presence organizing parties, holding down a residency on the Lot Radio and playing at the city’s most respected clubs. Her sets consistently groove, but recently she’s been going harder, digging into nail-biting techno, as evidenced by a recent appearance on HÖR Berlin. Marcellus Pittman is one of Detroit’s finest. Raised on the sounds of the Electrifying Mojo and Jeff Mills’ “The Wizard” radio shows, his deeply-rooted musicality was apparent from his earliest releases: the “Essential Selections” EPs on Theo Parrish released at the turn of the millennium show the younger artist already in full control of his craft. Grooves swing with perfectly drowsy momentum while plaintive chords land with the softness of light rain; gritty 2-step disco-esque loops churn with delectable weirdness; drums bounce with robust, tape-saturated grit. Since then, he hasn’t let up, releasing canonical sides on FXHE, Unirhythm and of course Sound Signature. As a DJ, his vinyl-heavy sets are unabashedly emotive, filled with joyful house and sneaky segues. Dee Diggs represents: the NY DJ has become an unmissable presence for her celebratory disco-house-funk sets. Unapologetically honoring Black and queer lineages, Diggs taps into decades of life-affirming music with an urgency and defiance to match our current moment. DJ RAQX draws on her Puerto Rican and German heritages to craft a mixture of soulful house, latinx deep cuts and club sounds from across Central and South America. Recent sets soar from breaks to bass to four-on-the-floor, juggling rhythms and tempos to craft a true journey. ■ No photos or videos ■ No phone use on the dancefloor ■ The dance floor is for dancing, not conversation ■ No glowing/flashing clothes or items ■ Respect other people's space, no shuffling ■ Consent is mandatory ■ Zero tolerance for racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, ableism or any form of discrimination ■ Take care of each other, alert our staff if somebody isn't feeling well ■ Violating the house rules will result in removal ■ Ticket purchase does not guarantee entrance
