  • Stereo and FUSE Glasgow are joining forces to bring KAIZEN founder Madam X DJ, label manager and club impresario Madam X has proven to be one of the UK’s leading underground DJs. With a 6 year reign on NTS, a monthly on Athens’ Movement Radio and a Radio 1 residency under her belt, her work to champion new music and support up & coming talent has seen her tour across America, Australia, Asia and beyond. With the soundsystem pressure of dubstep, the propulsion of techno and a fearless attitude to multi-genre mixing, there aren’t many DJs like her who can carve out whole new sounds in the music they play and how they play it. Pushing the sounds of bass-driven techno, her KAIZEN record label and clubnight has garnered itself as one of the leading forward-thinking imprints flying the flag for off-kilter club music. Thriving in the in-between-spaces, with releases from Biome, Walton, Cartridge and Silas & Snare, and support from scene heroes Ben UFO, Mall Grab & Loefah, KAIZEN has proven to be one of the most talked-about UK underground labels. A strong believer in vinyl and the art of pressing music to wax, KAIZEN has formed a strong identity and brand with regular support from Mixmag, Resident Advisor and Crack Magazine. Often described as a “headsy” label geared for crate diggers and record collectors, the clubnight and imprint has armed Madam X with the hands-on experience of releasing records independently whilst also keeping her ear firmly to the ground. Joining Madam X is diessa who is going back to back with FUSE's VAJ.Power; Shakara's Maveen under darker techno alias DJ $YCLOPS & Prague-based evil medvěd, VAJ.Power and FUSE co-founder, who is making a long-awaited return to Glasgow for his first live show in Scotland since lockdown.
