Frankfurt-based label Rawax takes over Renate with a stellar selection of artists core to the imprint's past, present and future. In the Black Room, Brizman, aka Gel Abril, plays under his sun-kissed, house-orientated alias. Cave Recordings and Brouqade label boss Dana Ruh joins him, providing a solid dose of deep, dark and dubby house and techno, some of which she sources from her record store in Berlin, 60waves. Self-professed "quantum nerd" and Rawax releasee Wave Particle Singularity also plays the Black Room, sharing shimmering and sensual house vibes.
Upstairs in the Green Room, Rawax head honcho Robert Drewek soundtracks the space with classic and jackin' house, accompanied by soulful selector Beatris. Seminal mixologist since '87, Italian legend DJ Ralf completes the bill, off-loading his stacked record collection spanning groovy house, tribal, disco flavours and vintage gems.
It's a more minimal house affair in the Red Room, with Romanian artist Guy From Downstairs channelling stripped-backed, rumbling aesthetics from the genre. U FIT label founder Nico Lahs joins him, and Chicago house lover St. David completes the lineup.
