Part of over a week long festival of events, this year th party starts with legendary reggae act Aswad playing the Community Hall (sold out), see two days in the park (Friday 1 September and Saturday 2 September) and rolls onto the foliowing weekend (9 September). This year WFAM turns Eleven! We've been shortlisted for a Green Impact Award. And we're introducing a new health and well being zone to our event in the park. Here's a recap of what we're about... Woodbridge Festival of Art and Music is a not-for-profit, community run festival that has been supporting and promoting music and other creative endeavours in our area for the last decade. As well as bringing music and art events into town, holding events in parks and public squares and projecting onto the Tide Mill and other historic buildings, we've donated music equipment to six local schools, run art and literature open call competitions attracting 100s of entrants, supported an Alzheimer's choir, held eco summer schools and in class eco sessions and donated funds to local good causes. We are committed to sustainability. A third of our festival site is devoted to our eco zone and this year we've been shortlisted for the East Suffolk Green Impact Award. Following a series of music and light projection nights around Woodbridge in 2010/2011, the first festival was held in 2012 as an alternative Jubilee event.
