When you think Renaissance you think quality underground house courtesy of the likes of Sasha & Digweed, Dave Seaman, Satoshie Tommie, Sander Kleinenberg, James Zabeila and Nic Fanciulli. Be it via their compilations or parties, clubbers the world over have experienced the style, sophistication and hedonism associated with Renaissance and come Saturday 4th November that’s what we all expect when the brand makes its Maidstone debut at River.
For this very special FREE party, Maidstone’s no.1 export Nic Fanciulli plays his first Saturday night set in his home town in over FOURTEEN MONTHS (since the last ClubClass at The Loft no less) as part of the World Tour supporting his new Renaissance compilation. The ClubClass and We Love... resident supreme releases the compilation on 23rd October which includes his mammoth ‘Lucky Heather’ record, a true anthem from this summer. Come November 4th he'll be back home, rocking it in top form on a specially installed Funktion 1 Sound System. You can expect nothing less than pure carnage as Nic plays to his most loyal and dedicated crowd.
Joining Nic is the sensational Neil Quigley, who has been making waves in recent months as a consequence of his outstanding sets at Bedrock alongside John Digweed and his new productions alongside Nick Muir (again of Bedrock fame). Neil will be a great compliment to Nic and a sure fire bet to get the party started at River. Completing the lineup is James Talk who is no stranger to us having rocked River now on numerous occasions! Downstairs we welcome The Liquid Sessions for a mammoth liquid d’n’b work out headlined by the brilliant Unknown Error from Renegade Hardware.
