Goldway 高威 is the latest addition to Hong Kong’s techno community formed in the industrial building. The crew aims to combine the spirits of the industrial center and contemporary music culture and experiment with underground music that originated from Hong Kong. While Mindblank is a music & visual sharing, paradise imagination, and life, that is cross-dimensional also from Hong Kong.
For their launch party, the music collectives welcome one of the top contributors to the Japanese techno scene, Ryogo Yamamori (Kagerou) and he will be making his Hong Kong debut with support from Mill.H (Goldway/Utopia), Dan-neo (Acadana), Konnection, and Changa (Mindblank/15g).
Ryogo Yamamori started DJing in the late 90s and his sound is that of a minimalist producer skilled at incorporating unconventional elements without disrupting the flow of sound. His unique techno sound combines a thick sound design with euphoric and psychedelic elements. His crossover music selection from electric to techno, psychedelic, ambient, and crossover creates an original and contemporary sound space. He pursues the dimension of sound energy to the extreme and hits the floor with an overwhelming groove.
